The boards feature distinct knots and grain variation to create a unique character and natural look similar to solid timber flooring. Beneath a thick top layer of Australian hardwood is an engineered eucalyptus plywood core, which ensures optimum stability is guaranteed between the floorboards, with reduced risk of bending and cupping.

Our Australian Hardwood Timber Collection features a square edge profile with matt or semi-gloss finish, to achieve a floor that’s earthy and effortless. Consistent in quality and structural stability, Australian Hardwood is constructed using a low shrinkage, ecofriendly Hevea core and a tough Australian hardwood lamella. Our production incorporates a licensed Välinge locking system, which uses a single action installation method, saving time and creating a floor that can be enjoyed instantly.

Utilising the latest in environmentally friendly UV coatings, the 7-coat system delivers a floor finish similar to a stylish oiled floor but with the durability and protection a UV lacquer offers. LesMo group provides a practical, yet stylish option could be installed on virtually any flat surface including concrete, tiles and existing timber floors, and does not require a plywood underlay or acclimatisation prior to installation.

Engineered hardwood flooring is made from a combination of regrowth and plantation hardwoods that consist of several layers. The outermost layer is a hardwood veneer, which is a thin slice of wood. The inner layers are made of plywood, high-density fiberboard or hardwood. The core layers make the product more stable than regular solid hardwood, while the outer veneer layer adds beauty and authenticity. It is designed to reduce the moisture problems associated with solid hardwood. The multiple layers block moisture and provide extra stability to your floor. It will also not swell or warp, which makes it very low maintenance.

Moreover engineered hardwood is more environmentally friendly. The core is made of recycled wood fiber, meaning fewer trees are used with less waste.
